ABOUT
Corey Hendrickson was born in Cambridge, MA. He has a BS in Forest Biology and an MFA in Photography. Corey began his career in the shadow of the Tetons while living in Jackson, WY. The outdoor sports industry was a natural fit and Corey enjoyed creating images in the nearby mountains. New England drew him back, though, where he met his wife and started a family in Middlebury, VT. Corey now creates environmental portraits for commercial and editorial clients. He is also a Director of Photography, recently filming the 4th season of a nationally televised travel show on PBS. When Corey is not behind the camera, he can be found exploring the nearby trails with his daughter and son, or trying to find new stretches of gravel on his bike.
"I am curious by nature and this career allows me to explore. I love meeting new people and seeing what makes them tick. I am continually inspired by the rugged resourcefulness of New England. Whether it is a personal project, or a large production, my goal is always to connect with the subject and make them feel comfortable with the process. I strive for imagery that feels authentic and that requires a collaborative effort. Story beats technology every time for me, and what endures is the human connection."
