Ethan Tapper for Yankee Magazine

I was thrilled to get the call for a portrait assignment with Ethan Tapper. I studied Forestry at UVM before eventually switching gears and pursuing my MFA in Photography. I had read his book, How to Love a Forest, and loved it. Funny enough, I lived up the road from the land he wrote about during my undergraduate years. The other exciting part of this was getting to collaborate with the writer, Rowan Jacobsen. The story is now available in print in the July / August 2026 issue of Yankee Magazine.
